Mediterranean essence in New York

The Spanish fashion giant debuts on New York's Fifth Avenue with a three-storey flagship store in the historic Grande Dame building. A milestone has been reached by positioning itself on the avenue where the biggest empires of the international textile industry are located. This new shop is part of MANGO's international expansion until 2024.

The space reflects the spirit and freshness of the Mediterranean in a warm atmosphere in which neutral colours and traditional, handcrafted, sustainable and natural materials have been used. In addition to bringing fashion made in Spain, the chain wants to share the values of the Mediterranean culture and experience with Americans by engaging them in its lifestyle.

The furniture manufactured in our facilities follows the line of the new image that MANGO is implementing, for which we use light woods and white iron, with occasional elements finished in black. Perimeter furniture, central tables, shelving and shoe racks with unique shapes are some of the pieces that form part of this new environment.

This flagship store is also a commitment to innovation and has been conceived as a museum: during its inauguration, five original artworks by Joan Miró, Miquel Barceló and Antoni Tàpiès were exhibited, whilst also being simultaneously displayed in the Metaverso as unique digital works co-created by the company in NFT format. The Spanish fashion company thus joins the long list of brands that have made the leap into the virtual universe.
