PEFC Chain of Custody Policy

METALES Y MUEBLES ESPECIALES, S.L.U. is committed to implementing and maintaining the chain of custody requirements in accordance with the PEFC ST 2002:2020 Reference Standard Chain of Custody and Due Diligence System in accordance with RP B54.02 Specific Regulation for the AENOR Certification of the Due Diligence System in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 995/2010 and for this purpose has developed a system that incorporates principles in the company with which it intends to meet the demands and requirements arising from this standard.

Likewise, the Management of METALES Y MUEBLES ESPECIALES, S. L.U. agrees to provide the means and resources necessary for the distribution of the guidelines established by the chain of custody management system to all the personnel that form part of the company to increase knowledge and carry out the implementation of these guidelines in order to verify their effectiveness. In the same way, the system implemented by the company will be made public and available to customers and suppliers.

The Management of METALES Y MUEBLES ESPECIALES, S. L.U. agrees to identify and comply with the requirements of the customer requesting certified forestry products. Likewise, it will require sworn commitments from its suppliers to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of wood from sustainable production to be able to follow the chain as it passes through our company.

For this implementation to be effective, the involvement of all available resources of METALES Y MUEBLES ESPECIALES, S. L.U., both human and technical, is required.

The Management of METALES Y MUEBLES ESPECIALES, S. L.U. is the most responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and development of the System, which is based on the philosophy of continuous improvement, obtained through methods of monitoring the chain of custody process for our activities.

Likewise, the Management of METALES Y MUEBLES ESPECIALES, S. L.U. agrees to comply with the following social, health and safety requirements:

- Workers are not prevented from associating freely, electing their representatives, or bargaining collectively with the company.

- No use of forced labour

- Not to employ workers under the legal minimum age of 15 years or under the age of compulsory schooling, whichever is higher.

- Not to impede equal employment opportunities and equal treatment of workers.

- The working conditions do not endanger the safety or health of workers.
