G-SHOCK opens its flagship store at 47 Fuencarral Street, one of Madrid’s main commercial arteries.
With a surface area of 55 m² arranged on a split-level ground floor, the space is conceived as a continuous journey that visually and functionally connects both levels, optimizing the customer experience within a compact layout.
KIMAK delivered the project, covering technical development, bespoke manufacturing, logistics management, and final installation, under the design direction of El Departamento.
The intervention begins at the façade, with the execution of signage and illuminated side elements that enhance visibility and reinforce the brand’s presence from the outside.
Inside, materiality defines the identity of the space. The entrance integrates flooring and wall surfaces clad in ash veneer, providing continuity and warmth. All furniture was custom-designed and manufactured by KIMAK, combining carefully crafted ash wood
with seamless joinery solutions, satin stainless steel, and glass, ensuring construction precision and durability.
The display journey is complemented by graphic resources and backlit elements that tell the brand’s story and highlight the products.
As a distinctive feature of the project, the rear tiered seating is entirely built in ash wood using a traditional Japanese joinery system, where the interlocking structure itself provides stability without visible hardware, demonstrating attention to detail and craftsmanship applied through industrial processes.
The result is a compact yet highly expressive space, where technical expertise, materiality, and bespoke manufacturing come together to translate the G-SHOCK universe into a physical environment.
A project executed by KIMAK that delivers a coherent, functional, and long-lasting brand experience, where every construction detail reinforces the innovative identity of the brand.
